For many years, I have dealt with, and defended claims before, numerous governmental agencies; for example, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Birmingham Office in the late 70’s. In addition, my qualifications include:

  • I served as an adjunct professor teaching “Labor Law” at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
  • I have been retained by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to serve as a mediator in EEOC disputes. I do not represent the EEOC; I work as an independent mediator responsible for facilitating the resolution of Federal Charges of Discrimination.
  • I have handled employment matters for major international corporations involving agencies including OSHA, the National Labor Relations Board and the US Department of Labor.
  • Since the development of “EPLI Policies,” which provide insurance coverage for “employment practices liability” claims, I have been panel counsel and/or worked with insurers such as Chartis, Hartford, AIG, XL Group, OneBeacon Professional, and Resurgens Specialty Underwriting, Inc. (RSUI).

I bring all of the experience and knowledge that one would expect to find only in a large, multi-attorney firm.
